Federal Work Study - On/Off Campus Opportunities

About the role

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about providing real-world educational experiences to our students. This role involves helping qualified students gain valuable work experience through the Federal Work Study Program.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in finding and applying for part-time Federal Work Study positions with not-for-profit companies and on-campus positions.
• Support students in understanding and navigating the Federal Work Study program requirements and processes.
• Monitor student progress and provide guidance on work-study opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and institutional regulations regarding the Federal Work Study Program.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits and in good academic standing.
• Must be able to commit to working part-time hours.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
• Experience working with students or in a similar support role is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $16.00 per hour.
