With offices throughout Texas, the firm represents national insurers, transportation companies, businesses, and self-insured clients in complex, high-exposure litigation. Responsibilities

• Manage complex litigation from inception through resolution
• Handle a diverse caseload including Commercial Trucking & Transportation Defense, Construction Defect Litigation, General Liability Defense, and Personal Injury Defense
• Take ownership of files, handle depositions, draft and argue dispositive motions
• Participate in mediations and work closely with clients throughout the litigation process
• Trial experience is a plus

Requirements

• 1,920 annual billable hour requirement

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active Texas Bar license
• 7-10+ years of insurance defense litigation experience
• Experience handling commercial trucking and transportation matters preferred
• Background in construction defect, general liability, and personal injury defense
• Strong deposition, motion practice, and case management experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay

$170,000 - $210,000 per year
