About the Role
As a Maddox OEM Supply Planner, you will report to the Supplier Relations Manager under the direction of the OEM Purchasing Team Lead in a fast-paced procurement environment. Your role will focus on managing new stock programs to mitigate supply risks and ensure profitability through consistent inventory levels. You will oversee a large portfolio of new stock items across multiple product lines and U.S. warehouse locations.
Using supply chain planning tools, you will forecast SKU-level product demand, maintain safety stocks, and prevent costly inventory shortages. Your responsibilities will include ensuring Maddox procures the "right" stock units, from the "right" OEMs, in the "right" quantities, and at the "right" time. You will also assist the OEM Purchasing Team Lead and Analyst with purchasing, planning, supplier performance, and reporting projects as needed.
Daily tasks include reviewing weekly sales trends, calculating replenishment orders, and directing OEM Purchase Order Coordinators on what, how many, and from whom to order. You will lead weekly Stock Steering meetings with the OEM Purchasing Leadership Team to develop and report on supply strategies.
Responsibilities
- Manage new stock programs to mitigate supply risks and ensure inventory profitability.
- Forecast SKU-level product demand using supply chain planning tools.
- Maintain sufficient safety stocks to avoid inventory shortages.
- Ensure procurement of the "right" stock units from the "right" OEMs in the "right" quantities at the "right" time.
- Review weekly sales trends and calculate operational and tactical replenishment orders.
- Direct OEM Purchase Order Coordinators on ordering specifics (items, quantities, suppliers).
- Lead weekly Stock Steering meetings with the OEM Purchasing Leadership Team.
- Assist with purchasing, planning, supplier performance, and reporting projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency with spreadsheets and dashboards (Excel, Power BI, Google Sheets).
- Experience working with large datasets and deriving actionable insights.
- Kaizen (continuous improvement) mindset with a focus on eliminating waste in systems and processes.
- Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.

- Confidence to seek help when needed.

Skills and Experience
Experience is valued, and candidates with 20+ years in related fields are encouraged to apply. Maddox also invests in early-career candidates with the right attitude and ambition. While education or experience in engineering, data analytics, supply chain, manufacturing, or purchasing is desirable, it is not required. Candidates with APICS CPIM, CSCP certifications, or Six Sigma credentials are strongly encouraged to apply.
Work Location
In-office role with occasional domestic travel (up to 10%).
Pay
Hourly range: $31—$41 USD
