Odor Technician - B Shift Night

Essential Job Functions

• Quickly and safely inspect offsite odor complaints in a reliable manner.
• Detect the different odors and their sources in the surrounding community.
• Perform traffic control such as guiding vehicles and equipment to appropriate areas, placing signs and cones for vehicle direction.
• Effective communication with drivers, employees, and management via hand held radios and CBs.
• Cleanup of vehicles and equipment as needed.
• Fuel vehicles and equipment.
• Follow OSHA safety standards and wear required PPE.
• Perform other duties assigned by manager as necessary, eg janitorial support, filing paperwork.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States
• Clean driving record
• Knowledge of basic GPS systems (Maps on IPhones)
• Basic data entry and record keeping
• Conducting onsite and offsite inspections to ensure the landfill stays in compliance in regards to nuisance odors in the surrounding community
• Light housekeeping duties onsite
• Able to work in an outdoor environment on a constant basis while being exposed to variable weather conditions, temperatures, chemicals, dust, fumes, smells, and loud noises

Salary Range: Minimum USD $17.25/Hr. Salary Range: Maximum USD $17.25/Hr.
