Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions in a compassionate, fast-paced setting
• Collaborate with physicians, rehab specialists, and care teams
• Develop customized treatment plans for orthopedic, neuro, and chronic care patients
• Educate patients and families on home programs and recovery tools
• Participate in team meetings to optimize patient care outcomes
• Track and report progress using our EMR system

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) in the State of New Jersey
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in outpatient, orthopedic, or neurological care is a plus

Skills

• Proficiency in medical terminology to effectively communicate within healthcare settings
• Experience in case management to coordinate comprehensive care for patients
• Knowledge of physiology is required to understand body functions relevant to rehabilitation practices
• Familiarity with speech therapy techniques is a plus for holistic patient support
• Experience working in diverse settings such as ICU, clinics, home health, or skilled nursing facilities is preferred
• Ability to work effectively with individuals facing disabilities and those on the autism spectrum
