About the role
The Emory University Department of Ophthalmology/Emory Eye Center seeks a full-time faculty member to join their section of Oculoplastics, Orbital and Cosmetic Surgery at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leading physicians across the full range of ophthalmology subspecialties and other fields.
- Provide multidisciplinary care and complex pathology services at The Emory Clinic, Emory University Hospital, and Grady Hospital.
- Teach residents, medical students, and fellows.
- Engage in research and publish findings.
Requirements
- Completed post-residency fellowship in Oculoplastics and Orbital Surgery.
- Eligibility for membership in the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS).
- A robust commitment to top-quality patient care.
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent surgical skills.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree.
- Board certification in Ophthalmology.
