About the Role
The Ocular Oncologist will provide comprehensive care for neoplastic and masquerade disorders in both adults and children, with the flexibility to practice general ophthalmology or subspecialty care if fellowship-trained. The position emphasizes collaboration with residents, fellows, subspecialists, and support staff within a state-of-the-art facility that offers extensive clinical, surgical, and research opportunities, including a Clinical Trials Unit and access to a large patient volume.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a diverse practice focused on ocular neoplasms and related disorders
- Engage in clinical and surgical care, and participate in research activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to residency and fellowship training
Requirements
- Completed an ACGME-accredited ophthalmology residency
- Fellowship training in ocular oncology (AUPO-compliant or equivalent)
- Eligible for Oklahoma medical licensure and certification by the American Board of Ophthalmology
Qualifications
- Experience with ocular, orbital, and adnexal diseases, and ability to work with multi-subspecialist teams, is preferred
