We need to parse job description. POSITION SUMMARY: The OCS Specialist maximizes and supports the use of the OCS for organ retrieval and transport prior to, during and after transplantation. About the role

The OCS Specialist maximizes and supports the use of the OCS for organ retrieval and transport prior to, during and after transplantation.

    Responsibilities

    • Completion of rigorous hands-on training and OCS certification across all organ platforms at TransMedics’ training facility in Andover, MA.
    • Apply OCS knowledge during organ retrieval, preservation, transport, and assessment according to TransMedics protocols and policies.

      • Managing inventory & shipments on a weekly basis
      • Assist with Lab Trainings
      • Participate in R&D activities in lab
      • Assist with establishing launch points

      • Provide customer support as needed (e.g. hospital in-services & refresher training)
      • Perform other TransMedics tasks and duties as assigned/required
But note we have nested list; maybe better to flatten. However spec says use
    • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Could have top-level list; sub-items could be separate
    • with description. Simpler: just list each bullet as separate
    • . We'll flatten. Thus:
    • Completion of rigorous hands-on training and OCS certification across all organ platforms at TransMedics’ training facility in Andover, MA.
    • Apply OCS knowledge during organ retrieval, preservation, transport, and assessment according to TransMedics protocols and policies.
    • When not on OCS call days, perform assigned tasks during standard working hours, either remotely from home or as assigned, including but not limited to managing inventory & shipments on a weekly basis, assisting with lab trainings, participating in R&D activities in the lab, assisting with establishing launch points, participating in medical and scientific conferences and meetings (inside or outside the US), communicating regularly with Organ Management Phone Support to relay real-time updates while supporting ongoing OCS cases, regularly communicating OCS utilization activities and users’ feedback, completing annual recertification on all organ platforms, timely submission of post-case documentation and preparation/presentation of case reviews (with support and review of senior colleague) following the use of the OCS, providing customer support as needed (e.g., hospital in-services & refresher training), and performing other TransMedics tasks and duties as assigned/required.
    • That is long but okay. Now Requirements section: include Minimum Qualifications and Physical attributes.

      Now Qualifications (Preferred):

        • Short Term Disability
        • Long Term Disability
        • 401K Plan
        • Pet insurance
        • Employee Stock Purchase Plan
        Now Pay:

        Pay

Expected base salary range: $100,900 – $125,900 (actual salary depends on experience, qualifications, skills, and work location). This role may also be eligible for bonuses and equity.

Now Schedule: we have on-call and travel already in Requirements; but we could still have Schedule section focusing on on-call schedule and travel. However we already included on-call and travel in Requirements. To avoid duplication, we could move those to Schedule and keep Requirements focused on qualifications. Let's think: Requirements could be education/experience; Schedule could be on-call and travel. The spec says include a section only when posting has real specific content. We have both. So we can split. Thus: Requirements (education/experience): - BSN/BS + 2+ years experience in ICU, ECMO, Cath Lab, OR, Transplant, ED. Schedule: - Ability to work on call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, for 15 days per month (including holidays/weekends). - Ability to fly domestically to clinical sites within and outside of home regions to perform OCS support as assigned. Physical attributes (lift, vaccination) could be under Requirements or maybe under "Physical Requirements". But we don't have a heading for Physical Attributes; we could include under Requirements as well. But we already used Requirements for education/experience; we could add physical attributes there as well. Or we could create a separate section "Physical Requirements" but not in prescribed headings. So we must stick to given headings. So we need to fit lift and vaccination into either Requirements or Schedule. Probably Requirements is
