As a Module Equipment Technician in the Thin Films department, you will play a critical role in Intel's high-tech manufacturing process, ensuring tools are optimized for world-class production. This role offers opportunities across all shifts and is based in Ocotillo Technology Fabrication (Fab52/42/32/12).

Responsibilities

• Perform functions associated with wafer production, including operations, equipment, process, and training.
• Conduct equipment maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting to support Fab objectives.
• Reduce defects and perform other duties as required.
• Work from technical manuals, specifications, drawings/diagrams, schematics, and written/verbal instructions using a variety of tools and test equipment.
• Apply problem-solving techniques and effective communication in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Must be willing to lift up to 35 pounds (18 kgs) 4 times a day.
• Position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: The candidate must possess at least one of the following:

• High School Diploma or equivalent AND 4+ years of related hands-on experience or military technical experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent AND 2.5+ years in a related equipment maintenance role.
• High School Diploma or equivalent AND 3+ year Technical/trade certification or 3+ years technical experience.
• Associate degree in a STEM-related field AND 2+ years of related equipment maintenance experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Military experience.
• Advanced Node Semiconductor manufacturing experience in a production environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• Experience in the thin films functional area.
• Hands-on preventative and corrective maintenance on 300mm semiconductor equipment (or equivalent experience).
• Skills to influence the creation of new specs, procedures, and business processes related to equipment maintenance.
• Knowledge of process control systems.
• Experience with schematics and complex drawings/diagrams.
• Integrated circuit fabrication experience.

Schedule

This position follows a Compressed Work Week schedule with 12-hour shifts (approximately 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM). Shift options include:

• Shift 4: Night front half of week – PM-AM Sun-Tues and alternating Saturday nights.
• Shift 5: Days front half of week – AM-PM Sun-Tues and alternating Wednesday days.
• Shift 6: Night back half of week – PM-AM Wed-Sat and alternating Saturday nights.
• Shift 7: Days back half of week – AM-PM Thurs-Sat and alternating Wednesday days.

Pay

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $60,450.00 - $116,640.00 USD (Hourly Role). The range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
