Ocotillo Technology Fabrication Process Integration and Yield Engineer

Job Description

Intel is seeking individuals with a strong technical background to support, ramp up, and transfer technology nodes in Arizona. The role involves driving continuous improvements in safety, quality, yield, reliability, cost, process stability, and productivity while maintaining rigorous quality control. Process Integration and Yield Engineers are responsible for delivering high-quality analytical insights that guide factory resources to minimize defects, control process parameters, and enhance overall factory yields. They collaborate closely with the process team to improve tool and process capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed data analysis using statistical/data mining tools to identify defect and yield root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Identify exclusionary or baseline sources of defects or yield impacts and lead/participate in corrective actions.
• Lead/participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance product and process performance.
• Provide expertise on process flow segments.
• Lead/participate in multi-area problem-solving teams to troubleshoot complex yield issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: BSE degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics Engineering, Material Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Statistics/Data Science, Chemistry, Physics or related field with 4+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience or a Ph.D.
• Preferred qualifications: Programming experience in JMP/JSL, Python, R, and SQL; 2+ years of new technology startup experience; 5+ years of advanced node Foundry experience in Process/Yield Engineering.

Pay and Schedule

The annual salary range for this role in the US is $103,730.00 - 198,820.00 USD, with individual pay determined by work location and additional factors. For specific compensation details, candidates should contact their recruiter.
