Occupational Therapy Team Leader

About the Role

Lead and support the occupational therapy team in a rehabilitation setting, ensuring seamless operations, effective care delivery, and patient progress. Assist the Director of Therapy Operations with scheduling, training, and communication, while providing direct patient care to foster recovery and build meaningful relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily therapy team activities and support operational functions
• Deliver personalized, compassionate care to patients, guiding them toward rehabilitation goals
• Coordinate with hospital departments and staff to ensure quality treatment
• Celebrate patient achievements and monitor progress

Qualifications & Skills

• Current licensure or certification per state regulations
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an accredited therapy program
• Minimum of three years of occupational therapy or leadership experience, including two years of clinical practice
• CPR certification (required within 30 days if not already obtained)
• Professional certifications or Therapy Clinical Ladder participation preferred
