Occupational Therapy Team Leader

About the Role

Lead and support the occupational therapy team in a rehabilitation setting, assisting with daily operations, scheduling, training, and communication. Provide direct patient care, developing personalized treatment plans to help patients achieve their recovery goals. Foster a collaborative environment that emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care and celebrates patient progress.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Therapy Operations with team management and coordination.
• Deliver direct therapeutic care, understanding patient physical, mental, and emotional needs.
• Build strong patient relationships and monitor progress.
• Ensure adherence to procedures and clinical standards.

Requirements

• Current licensure or certification per state requirements.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an accredited therapy program.
• Minimum of three years of occupational therapy experience, including two years in a leadership or clinical role.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days.
• Professional certifications or therapy ladder experience are preferred.
