About the role
This position is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work weekdays.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
- Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans to improve functional abilities.
- Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to promote independence and wellness.
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers as needed.
Requirements
- Graduate of an AOTA accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program and initially certified or eligible for certification by the NCBOT.
- Tennessee COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) license.
- A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
- Prior SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility) experience is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
