Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA - Home Health

Primary Responsibilities

• Follows all state specific laws governing the provision of occupational therapy in home care.
• Fulfills the treatment plan only as defined by the supervising OT.
• Observes, records, and reports to the nurse supervisor and the physician the patient's response to treatment and changes to the patient's condition.
• Instructs patient, family, caregiver, and other members of the health care team in the areas of therapy within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant.

Required Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• Demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently.
• Demonstrate good communication, writing, and organizational skills.

Pay

• Annual total cash target pay: $58,881 - $88,321
• Per visit point rate compensation: varies based on productivity points and the productivity points assigned to the visits performed.
• Hourly rate: $28.31 - $42.46 per visit point, $33.97 - $50.95 hourly rate.
