Role: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Responsibilities: Implements patient-centered, occupation-based treatment plans, adjusts activities based on patient response, and collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Educates patients and caregivers on ADLs, documents treatment activities accurately, and communicates progress with providers. Performs range of motion assessments and provides training on daily living skills. Serves as a clinical resource and role model, ensuring quality of care and professionalism. Qualifications & Skills: Certified by NBCOT, with BLS certification required within 30 days. Holds an Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistance. Demonstrates strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills. Ability to adapt treatment to individual needs and limitations, and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
