Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

About the role

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our mission of improving lives through personalized rehabilitation and wellness services. As a leader in physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory therapies with over four decades of trusted service, we deliver care across skilled nursing centers, assisted and independent living facilities, outpatient clinics, and home-based care.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities following developed recovery plans
• Deliver therapy treatments to help patients restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence
• Address the whole patient as an individual, adapting to their needs
• Collaborate with peers and make referrals to ensure patients receive comprehensive care
• Provide the highest quality of service to patients and their families in a caring, compassionate atmosphere
• Work in a facility-based setting reporting to the Director of Rehab

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice

Pay

USD $28.00 – USD $34.00 /Hr., with a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000.
