About the role

Powerback is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to help patients get well and bring their power back. In this role, you will implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments. You will address the whole patient as an individual, executing programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence. You will adapt to patient needs, collaborate with peers, and make referrals to ensure patients receive the care they need to thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Implement occupational therapy programs and activities
  • Follow developed recovery plans
  • Deliver therapy treatments
  • Execute programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance patients' physical abilities and independence
  • Adapt to the needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with peers and make referrals as needed
  • Ensure patients and families receive high-quality service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards
  • Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
  • Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice

Pay

USD $35.00 - USD $42.00 /Hr.
