About the role
We're seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled rehab team at NHC Richland Place. This full-time position will support patients in regaining strength, balance, and confidence after illness, injury, surgery, or decline.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed therapists in providing patient-centered care
- Help patients achieve functional goals through therapeutic activities
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and treatment protocols
Requirements
- Graduate of an AOTA-accredited OTA program
- Certified (or eligible) through NBCOT
- Active Tennessee COTA license
- Reliable transportation
- Positive attitude and team-player mindset
- SNF experience is a plus, but not required
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for occupational therapy and patient care

- Proficiency in using medical software and equipment
