About the role

We're seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled rehab team at NHC Murfreesboro. This full-time position will support patients in regaining strength, balance, and confidence after illness, injury, surgery, or decline.

Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed therapists in providing patient-centered care
  • Help patients regain functional skills and independence
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
  • Adapt treatment plans based on patient needs and feedback
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and policies

Requirements

  • Graduate of an AOTA-accredited OTA program
  • Certified (or eligible) through NBCOT
  • Active Tennessee COTA license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Positive attitude
  • Team-player mindset
  • SNF experience is a plus, but not required

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Passion for occupational therapy and patient care
