About the role

We're seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled rehab team. This full-time position will assist patients in regaining strength, balance, and confidence after illness, injury, surgery, or decline. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality care while fostering a supportive and family-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed therapists in providing patient-centered rehabilitation services
  • Help patients achieve functional goals through various therapeutic activities
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare providers
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatment sessions
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans

Requirements

  • Graduate of an AOTA-accredited OTA program
  • Certified (or eligible) through NBCOT
  • Active South Carolina COTA license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Positive attitude and team-player mindset
  • SNF experience is preferred but not required
