About the Role
Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) responsible for implementing therapeutic interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist in an interdisciplinary setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist in executing treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises and ADL training.
- Support patients in exercises and adaptive techniques to enhance independence.
- Document patient responses, progress, and report findings to the supervising therapist.
- Educate patients and families on exercises, techniques, and strategies for ongoing progress.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Support in evaluating patient needs and progress with additional observations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current valid state OTA licensure or certification.
- Preferred CPR certification.
- 0-1 years of experience.
