Role Overview

The Occupational Therapist Assistant provides occupational therapy to patients in their homes, aiming to restore their physical abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and treatment plans set by supervising OT
• Instruct and assist patients with evidence-based therapies
• Observe, record, and report patient responses and condition changes
• Educate patients, families, caregivers, and health team members
• Function effectively in diverse home environments, regardless of patient background

Qualifications & Skills

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, or access to transportation
• Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
• Preferred: CPR certification, multitasking, independence, strong communication, writing, and organizational skills
