Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for residents
- Implement evidence-based therapy interventions to promote resident independence and mobility
- Collaborate with the occupational therapy team to ensure effective care delivery
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident progress and therapy interventions
- Provide education and training to residents, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and strategies
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
Requirements
- 0 years of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) through the NBCOT
- Compassionate and patient-focused mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
