Our facility provides short- and long-term nursing and rehabilitation services to seniors in Sterling City, TX, and surrounding communities. Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative services to residents with mental, physical, psychosocial, and/or developmental impairments under the direction/supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
• Maintain expected productivity/efficiency as set by the Director of Rehab or Administrator.
• Monitor therapy services to ensure correct performance and provide encouragement as needed.
• Maintain patient records by documenting resident progress and daily notes.
• Generate revenue by recording billing information for services rendered.
• Ensure a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following facility policies and procedures.
• Maintain therapy equipment by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, and performing preventive maintenance.
• Uphold professional standards, policies, and federal/state/local requirements to protect the occupational therapy practice.
• Enhance the reputation of the occupational therapy practice by accepting new challenges and exploring opportunities to add value.

Requirements

• Current Texas licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Occupational Therapy Assistant license (required).
