Responsibilities
- Assist Occupational Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients
- Conduct occupational therapy sessions, including exercises, activities, and interventions to promote patient progress
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the occupational therapist
- Participate in interprofessional team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient treatment sessions and progress

Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant is preferred
- A current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in the state of New Jersey is required
- At least 1 year of experience as an OTA is required; prior experience in a long-term care setting is a plus
