Occupational Therapy Assistant

About the role

We are actively interviewing for Full-Time and PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant opportunities at Aventura at Assumption Village in North Lima. The position offers an in-house therapy team with no contract therapy, full-time benefits for eligible employees, and PRN options for supplemental income.

Responsibilities

• Providing individualized therapeutic interventions
• Implementing treatment plans under the direction of the supervising OT
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living and functional activities
• Monitoring and reporting resident progress and response to treatment
• Educating residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and techniques
• Completing timely and accurate documentation
• Communicating resident progress and concerns to the supervising OT
• Collaborating with nursing and the interdisciplinary care team
• Providing compassionate, resident-centered care

Requirements

• Active Ohio COTA license
• License in good standing with applicable licensing boards and regulatory agencies

Qualifications

• LTC/SNF or geriatric experience preferred, but not required
• Net Health experience is a plus

• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Passion for helping residents reach their highest level of independence
