About the Role
The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant provides occupational therapy treatments under supervision, following established care plans and hospital policies. They deliver quality patient care and ensure adherence to treatment protocols in a diverse and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities
- Implementing occupational therapy modalities and procedures
- Assisting in patient care activities as directed by licensed therapists
- Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with policies
- Supporting interdisciplinary team efforts to promote patient recovery
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited COTA program
- Washington Occupational Therapy Assistant License upon hire
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Medicare NPI number (within 30 days of hire)
- At least 2 years of specialized occupational therapy training or experience
