Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while exploring a new location.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' functional abilities and develop treatment plans to address their needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' independence and quality of life.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Washington State Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience with Skilled Nursing Facility or inpatient SNF settings is required.
• Experience with NetHealth and familiarity gathering patient information from PointClickCare is required.
• New graduates welcome.
• Relevant clinical experience with outpatient, short-term acute rehabilitation (SAR), or nursing home populations is preferred.
