Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract
About the Role
We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a brand-new location.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program
- Active State License (required to start the assignment)
- BLS Certification (may be required from AHA or ARC)
- 2 years of current Occupational Therapy experience
- Outpatient experience required
- Inpatient experience required
- Active American Heart Association BLS required
- All licenses and certifications must be current and in hand at time of submission
- Travel between 2 facilities is required; must have own transportation
- Experience using physical agent modalities is required
Responsibilities
- Outpatient caseload includes elbow, wrist, hand, and shoulder evaluation and treatment, including post-surgical and rotator cuff cases
- Inpatient coverage includes critical access swing and Med Surg coverage in a 12-bed hospital
Schedule
- Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, 40 hours per week
- No weekend requirement
