Location Highlights
Hayward offers access to East Bay recreation and major Bay Area destinations. The city is home to the Hayward Japanese Gardens and the Hayward Regional Shoreline, featuring shoreline trails and bay views about 10 minutes from central neighborhoods. Garin Regional Park provides hiking and open space roughly 15 minutes away. Downtown Oakland is about 25 miles northwest for dining, arts, and nightlife, while San Francisco is approximately 30 miles away via I-880 or BART. Oakland International Airport is about 10 miles west for convenient regional travel.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients in regaining or improving daily living skills due to injuries, illnesses, or disabilities.
- Work in diverse settings as part of travel contracts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active State License (required to start the assignment).
- BLS Certification may be required from AHA or ARC.
Schedule
- Days: Tuesday through Saturday
- Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Meal break: 30 minutes
