Occupational Therapist - Travel

About the role

Provide evaluation, planning, and treatment for patients in an acute care setting to improve, regain, and develop daily life skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing medical histories, assessing patient needs, and developing individualized treatment plans.
• Helping patients perform tasks, recommending equipment, and educating families and employers on care and accommodations.
• Evaluating home or workplace environments for potential improvements.
• Documenting patient progress, activities, and treatment outcomes in compliance with guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of experience; 1 year preferred, new grads encouraged to apply.
• Current NBCOT-OTR certification, state licensure, and BLS certification.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
