About the Role
Providing patient-centered, meaningful therapy to improve residents' independence and quality of life within a supportive, team-oriented skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and develop and update individualized treatment plans focused on ADLs, mobility, safety, cognition, and independence.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident recovery from orthopedic, neurological, and cognitive challenges.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in care planning and resident education.
- Support residents in regaining confidence and engaging in meaningful daily activities to enhance quality of life.
- Assist with mentorship and clinical support as needed.
Requirements
- Graduation from an approved occupational therapy program.
- Valid state license in occupational therapy.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Preferred: two years of experience, strong communication skills, and ability to work with geriatric populations.
- Must demonstrate maturity, diplomacy, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
