About the Role

E-Therapy is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team, providing occupational therapy services to students in PreK-12 schools. The successful candidate will help students achieve their developmental, educational, and functional goals.

Position Details

  • Start Date: ASAP for the 2026-2027 School Year
  • Hours: Part-time
  • Grade Levels: K-12 students
  • Location: 100% Remote
  • Compensation: Starting at $48/hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with students, parents, and school staff
  • Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to address students' specific needs and promote skill development
  • Monitor and document students' progress towards goals, adjusting intervention plans as needed
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers and other school staff regarding strategies to promote students' participation and success in the classroom
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for students' academic and functional needs
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of students' education plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other required paperwork

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
  • Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school or pediatric setting
  • Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric occupational therapy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in teletherapy or online counseling
  • Knowledge of sensory integration therapy, handwriting without tears, and other therapeutic modalities
