Occupational Therapist PRN

About the role

Assess, plan, and implement rehabilitative programs to improve patients' daily activities, mobility, cognition, strength, coordination, and range of motion. Services are provided across the continuum with a focus on quality, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Implement and adjust treatment plans based on patient and family input, providing education and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment programs, goals, and discharge plans.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and educational materials as per departmental guidelines.
• Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, punctuality, and professional appearance.
• Communicate effectively with team members and participate in staff activities.
• Deliver excellent customer service, fostering teamwork, respect, and positive interactions.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, mandatory training, and compliance with policies.

Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapist license.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) or BLS-Instructor certification.
