About the role
Assess, plan, and implement rehabilitative programs to improve patients' daily activities, mobility, cognition, strength, coordination, and range of motion. Services are provided across the continuum with a focus on quality, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Implement and adjust treatment plans based on patient and family input, providing education and discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment programs, goals, and discharge plans.
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and educational materials as per departmental guidelines.
- Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, punctuality, and professional appearance.
- Communicate effectively with team members and participate in staff activities.
- Deliver excellent customer service, fostering teamwork, respect, and positive interactions.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, mandatory training, and compliance with policies.
Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
Qualifications
- Occupational Therapist license.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) or BLS-Instructor certification.
