Responsibilities
- Aid in the implementation of individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct occupational exercises and activities with clients, focusing on improving independence, functional abilities, and quality of life.
- Assess and document clients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and caregivers, providing support and answering questions.
- Adhere to all relevant legal, ethical, and professional standards.
Requirements
- Accredited Occupational Therapist degree.
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Michigan.
- CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules.
