- Instruct patients in functional activities
- Perform reexaminations to track progress
- Ensure a safe environment
- Maintain equipment
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
- Initial certification from the National Board for Certification
- Valid state license
- Reliable transportation or driver's license
