OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (PER DIEM)

About the Role

Valley Health Specialty Hospital is the first orthopedic surgery and inpatient rehabilitation facility in the Las Vegas area, offering both specialty orthopedics and inpatient rehab in one location. As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide a comprehensive evaluation of performance components affecting activities of daily living (ADL) functioning and deliver goal-oriented treatment to facilitate the maximum level of independence for patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' ADL performance components.
• Develop and implement goal-oriented treatment plans to promote independence.
• Provide care and services tailored to the age of patients served on the assigned unit/department.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from a university program satisfying the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) academic and intern requirements for competence.
• Nevada State License as a Registered Occupational Therapist.
• Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Current BLS certification.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service to the age of patients served.
