Occupational Therapist- Per Diem

About the role

Select Specialty Hospital - Cleveland Fairhill seeks an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dedicated team. This position offers the opportunity to participate in discharge planning, supervise staff, and conduct therapy sessions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education, and adaptive equipment
• Serve as a supervisor for certified occupational therapy assistants (OTAs) and OT and COTA students
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens
• Maintain oversight of patients' responses to treatment
• Attend continuing education seminars and in-services

Requirements

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment

Qualifications

• Experience in critical illness recovery settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Proficiency in using medical software and equipment

Pay

$33.00 - $50.00/Hour based on years of experience
