Occupational Therapist (Part-Time OR Full-Time)

About the Role

Seeking an Occupational Therapist responsible for evaluating, discharging, planning, directing, and administering occupational therapy interventions. Administers treatments and physical agents as prescribed by a referring physician to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability. Assists patients in reaching their maximum performance and function level while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and administer occupational therapy interventions.
• Administer treatments and physical agents as prescribed by a referring physician.
• Restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability.
• Assist patients in reaching maximum performance and function levels.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy school.
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Texas.
• Current BLS certification.

Primary Focus

Inpatient and Swing Bed Patient Caseload with occasional outpatient cases.
