About the role
Sentara Virginia Beach General hospital is hiring an Occupational Therapist for Acute Care - Part Time 20 Hours.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury and help build or restore vocational/ daily living skills as well as general independence.
Requirements
- Master's in Occupational Therapy or higher
- NBCOTVA License in Occupational Therapy
- BLS
Qualifications
- Certified Occupational Therapist
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and patient care
