Occupational Therapist Outpatient

About the role

Provides direct patient care by developing tailored intervention plans to help patients improve, regain, or maintain daily living, work, and leisure skills. Facilitates participation in meaningful activities, promotes independence, and educates patients, families, and caregivers on conditions, safety, and adaptive equipment use. Collaborates within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care and models proficiency through precepting new staff.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement personalized treatment strategies for diverse patient needs.
• Support patient independence and satisfaction through problem-solving and education.
• Contribute to team efforts to deliver safe, effective care.
• Mentor and precept new team members, promoting best practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor's or Master’s).
• Current Colorado licensure.
• BLS certification.
