About the role
Aspire Senior Living Carthage is seeking a talented and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our dedicated team. You will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by providing high-quality occupational therapy services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Evaluate and assess the occupational therapy needs of our residents
- Provide occupational therapy interventions, including adaptive equipment training, sensory integration techniques, and cognitive rehabilitation
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote independence, mobility, and overall well-being
- Educate and empower residents, families, and caregivers on various topics, including safety, mobility, and adaptive equipment use
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of services provided, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Participate in interprofessional team meetings
