About the role
We are hiring a Remote Occupational Therapist to provide occupational therapy services to patients via telehealth. This role supports a diverse caseload, assessing needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to promote improved functional abilities and independence. Positions are open in all 50 states to serve clients in California, and we offer reimbursement for California licensure.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning to determine their needs and goals.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment findings.
- Provide remote occupational therapy services, including exercises, activities, and interventions to help patients achieve their goals and improve functional abilities.
- Educate patients and caregivers on techniques and strategies to enhance independence and well-being.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and other documentation.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards, including HIPAA compliance and patient privacy.
- Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to conduct remote therapy sessions.
- Stay current with developments in occupational therapy through ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active CA State Occupational Therapy License or ability to apply.
- Experience in a clinic or school setting or successful clinical interview.
- Technical proficiency to conduct teletherapy through our all-inclusive platform.
- Comfortable working with pediatrics (18 months+).
- Feeding and/or Hand Therapy experience preferred but not required.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.
