About the role
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team and care for our diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn. At PAM Health, we care for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. Our teams work together to deliver the highest level of compassionate care, ensuring the best possible outcome for our patients.
The Occupational Therapist will be primarily responsible for direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs in an age-appropriate manner for individual patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy in the PAM Health System. The Occupational Therapist will additionally be involved in the further development of the services and must be flexible to meet the needs of the System within many different facilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an inpatient hospital setting.
- Plan and implement specific occupational therapy treatment programs tailored to individual patients.
- Deliver care in an age-appropriate manner according to occupational therapy principles and practices.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of occupational therapy services within the PAM Health System.
- Adapt to the needs of the system across multiple facilities.
Requirements
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- One (1) year of clinical experience preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or a strong desire and commitment to learn.
