About the role
Bayside of Poquoson Health & Rehab is a supportive, collaborative skilled nursing facility where an Occupational Therapist can make a daily impact.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Assess patients' functional abilities and recommend appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Document progress and communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers
Requirements
- Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Virginia
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- ACOTE accredited
Skills
- Excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in using rehabilitation software and tools
