Occupational Therapist (OT) - Outpatient Center

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients of all ages, serving as a clinical resource and role model for staff and students. Key Responsibilities Include Designing personalized care plans that incorporate goals, treatments, and discharge strategies.Performing patient transfers and demonstrating safe body mechanics to prevent injuries.Evaluating clinical findings to diagnose and assess treatment outcomes.Educating patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare providers using effective teaching methods.Screening patients to determine therapy needs and utilizing standardized outcome measures.Documenting evaluations, treatment plans, and patient responses in compliance with policies.Implementing functional intervention activities tailored to emotional and physical needs.Collaborating with the healthcare team and providing supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and technicians.Communicating patient progress, changes, and discharge recommendations clearly to the medical team. Qualifications Include Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. Skills required: strong clinical evaluation, patient education, documentation, teamwork, and adherence to legal and ethical standards.
