Occupational Therapist (OT) - Outpatient Center

We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients of all ages, serving as a professional role model and clinical resource. Perform patient transfers, ensuring safety through proper body mechanics.Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on patient response and evidence-based practices.Educate patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare providers using effective teaching methods.Conduct clinical evaluations to determine diagnoses and treatment outcomes.Screen patients to assess therapy needs and effectiveness of interventions.Supervise and monitor support personnel, providing regular feedback.Document evaluations, treatment plans, and patient responses in compliance with policies.Implement functional intervention activities tailored to patient needs, modifying approaches as necessary.Use standardized outcome measures to accurately reflect functional performance.Collaborate with the healthcare team and provide patient and family education during the rehabilitation process.Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and technicians, ensuring quality care.Communicate patient progress, status changes, discharge plans, and equipment needs clearly to the medical team. Qualifications include: Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy, active OT license, and BLS certification within 30 days. The role requires strong clinical skills, safety awareness, effective communication, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
