Occupational Therapist / OT / OTR - Full Time Float
Requirements
- Float to facilities throughout Northern/ Central CT to provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facilities
- Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
- Possess a current Occupational Therapy license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
- Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
- Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
- Work well with others in a team setting
- Be flexible with hours
Qualifications
- Under the direction of a Rehab Director, a successful Rehab Team Leader will:
- Provide daily oversight of rehabilitation services
- Ensure efficient and effective operations of the facility's rehabilitation department
- Provide therapy services to patients
- Provide clinical support, training and oversight of specialty programs within his/her specific discipline
- Plan and coordinate with other facility therapists in the implementation of programs and procedures to optimize patient outcomes
- Monitor patient admissions, schedules, MDS assessment periods and data
- Provide administrative supervision of therapists in the rehabilitation department
- Be a licensed Occupational Therapist or license eligible in the state where employed
- Have experience as a treating therapist in the Skilled Nursing Facility setting

Schedule
Average travel time and mileage is paid when traveling in between two or more facilities on one day.
Pay
Good Faith Rate Range: $39/hr - $45/hr
