About the role

FeldCare Connects is seeking an Occupational Therapist to serve the Los Angeles area. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and enthusiastic about working with adults of all ages.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate patient care needs relating to functionality status, activities of daily living, fine motor coordination, home assessments, and adaptive equipment, based on medical conditions.
  • Determine a treatment plan and perform interventions aimed at improving and enhancing the patient's wellbeing.
  • Evaluate the patient’s progress.
  • Provide services defined by state laws governing the practice of Occupational Therapy, in coordination with the plan of care and other members of the health care team.
  • Lead the patient in the use of therapeutic, creative, and self-care activities to improve functioning and safety.
  • Observe, record, and report the patient's response to treatment and changes to the patient's condition.
  • Instruct patients, families, caregivers, and the health care team in the areas of therapy in which they can assist the patient.

Qualifications

  • Ability and enthusiasm in working with all ages.
  • Occupational Therapist license and registration by the state.
  • Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapist program.
  • Bilingual a plus!
