About the role

Elevate Your Occupational Therapist Career with Us! Birch Creek Post Acute and Rehab has an opportunity to join the in-house therapy team at this 124-bed skilled nursing facility in Tacoma, WA.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
• Provide individualized occupational therapy interventions to promote independence and quality of life.
• Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' functional abilities and needs.
• Train patients and their families in ADLs, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Utilize technology like the OmniVR system to enhance patient rehabilitation outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with best practices in occupational therapy.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current state of practice OT License.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing settings preferred.
